If you put the bike in transport mode does the red security light still flash? Reason I'm asking, I'm on a trip, trailered the bike to Florida in transport mode and it sat in the trailer for 9 days. Went for a 120 mile ride yesterday and the bike started and ran fine. Got back, put it back in the trailer (might be another 5-6 days before I ride again) and put (or so I thought) it back in transport mode to save the battery. The red light continued to flash...I shook the bike with the FOB removed and the alarm never sounded so I GUESS it's in transport mode but the light flashing has me confused...TIA!
Yes, the red security light will continue to flash.
To verify that you actually have transport mode active:
1. Take FOB 10 - 15 feet away from bike
2. Raise bike up off side stand or otherwise shake the handle bars back and forth.
If the turn signals start flashing, transport mode was not active.
Transport mode only turns off the movement tilt sensor portion of the alarm system. The bike is still armed and using battery power. If the trailer is not being used to tow and only for storage I would want all the alarm sensors activated. The red dash light continues to flash in transport mode.

As mentioned, yes, the security light will continue to flash.
You know the battery isn't going to run down in 5-6 days with security enabled. Otherwise, if you're that worried about the battery, I suggest just pulling the main fuse. My .

Thank you, right now bike is being stored in my locked trailer and is parked on Disney property in a Military only hotel with Security everywhere, I'm pretty sure it's safe.

Thanks, the battery is original but didn't go dead sitting in the trailer for 9 (actually 10) days so it should be alright for another 5-6 days, especially since I gave it that 120 mile run yesterday. I just didn't remember the security light flashing when I first started the trip and loaded the bike, I probably just didn't notice it and I guess as you say that little flashing light is not enough to kill it. At home I keep it on the Tender whenever it's in the garage so I never had the chance to test it and see how long it would hold the charge...
