Let us know if it works out it was the antenna, tnx ,and good luck
New antenna did NOT fix it. 2nd boot up and it was "lost" again. When it's "lost" and I go to the location screen it says no data available. When it's working and I go to the location screen it shows me data.
As long as you've eliminated the antenna, you might try the following which I just posted in another thread. Reinstall the latest software but follow the steps below. Also, you can customize the right and left data fields of the main nav screen to show GPS signal strength.
Someone posted the importance of having navigation loaded before inserting the flash drive containing a software update. That is, turn the cycle's power to the ACC position and let the system start. Either hit the navigation soft key or use the left joystick to enter navigation. Do not insert the flash drive if it says navigation is not ready. When the screen showing the navigation icons (Map, POI, Dealership, Where To, etc.) screen shows, then navigation is ready. At that point, insert the software update.
Since doing that, I have not had any problems.
edit: Stop any routes that may be active.

Were you having the same issue I have? Can you point me to the thread you referenced?
I did have that problem but I also had other issues where the GPS told me to do stupid things (e.g. U-turn where it was the wrong direction). I just completed a 2,300 mile trip and until I reloaded the software as suggested, routing was awful. After reloading, all was great. That is why I suggested reinstalling the software.
Sorry but I tried to find that original post and I can't.
