Kind of had something similar. Ride the bike a little, and wrap your hand around the right radiator hose. Is it warm ? if not, ride more or let idle. when the ETMS kicks on, rev throttle just tad for a min or two. Feel the hose again. Warm now ? If not, Id suspect the thermostat, but could be fan sensor too.
I overheated, found the factory didnt crimp the right radatior (Or may be dealer prep problem?) anyway, put a new TT in, and fans now worked as I remember them.
But, I like the idea of knowing whats happening too.. Hate seeing air temperature in the info screen. Im on a bike, not an airliner or submarine. WTF do I need air temp in an info screen. BAaahhh... Any way, i figure if the moco though dual cool was important for my 103, than Id kinda want to know a little. Bought the dipstic with temp readout. Nice to know oil temp, but think head temp / water temp would be

I wonder why nobody has hacked the program to display coolant, head temp, etc. right on the same display. We need to find a software engineer who rides an Ultra! Imagine the money you could make! Is this something Fuel Moto could do?
