This the deal right here cupped tyre rubber is from under inflated tyres or too soft suspension or both .

Most touring bikes spend there lives like mine in cruise mode i.e. cruise on a flat surface. My stocker Dunlops were bad *** when new in the corners. Now at 12k they are good but have that cup tire moan that i don't think much about tbh. Its much more noticeable with a passenger. The thing is bikes don't have the option of tire rotation. I'm sure there are better and softer low mileage options but i prefer the long wear of the factory tires regardless of cornering noise.

My rear MC II is cupped... many other's have had the same problem. So rather than saying your statement is BS, lets just call it an opinion and congratulate you for having such a great experience with them. Wish I could be that lucky.

Pretty easy to un-cup the rear with a rasp. Takes about 5 minutes.
