For the Men and women that have served or currently serving the country, Military, Police and Fire Fighters. Do we generally own Hd's at a larger ratio than the metric crowd?
I served 10 in the Navy, and was out for another 10 before I bought my first Harley. I just always wanted one for the lifestyle. Get the gear, couple of tats and brotherhood of other Harley owners. The looks, Somewhat Patriotic I guess. Plus I can't see myself driving around a sofa with bright white Velcro tennis shoes, khaki shorts and flowered billowy shirt. lol
It probably depends on your view of what's patriotic. I was active duty Air Force for 10 years. After riding foreign bikes for 30 years, I bought a Harley specifically because I wanted to buy American.

I don't think because you ride a Harley you are more Patriotic. There are a lot of true Patriots out there that drive all types of Bikes. Then there are real Patriots that don't even ride motorcycles.

And then there are some real douchebags that ride Harleyâs as well. Hell there are a few socialists and commie lovers on this very forum. Some of those delta bravos even claim to be vets.
HD riders more patriotic....I agree, what is the definition of patriotic? I am an American....simple as that. I didn't serve, I was classified 4-F during Vietnam Draft Days. I will say that a lot of Harley riders I know are very patriotic but then I ride with a number of veterans so.....yes they are. On the other hand, I always wanted a Harley, ever sense I was taught how to ride by my best friend who's father rode a Harley. He drove a garbage truck and I don't know if he was in the military but he was a great father to my best friend. Bottom line is....my breed is American, I bleed Red, White and Blue.
