Default Seat Screw(ed)

Hopped off of my bike last night and the seat slid with me. The screw holding the seat to the rear fender is MIA. i'm going to try to find a replacement today, but am looking for a little guidance on what size screw I need (2015 Street glide special). I found it on the online microfiche catalog, but don't see any details on the size. HD sales a quick-release seat hardware kit and references a 1/4"-20. Is this what I need to be looking for? Off to buy some loctite...
Thanks!

Go to ebay they have some knurled ones that you don't need a screwdriver to get on and off.

Any 1/4-20 that is no longer than 1/2" thread length will work for now.. If longer than 1/2 and you compress suspension the tire might make contact...

Use the one out of the seat strap until you can get a OEM replacement.

Note that the oem bolt has a flange that acts as a lock. If tightened correctly it shouldn’t go anywhere. None of mine have ever loosened. Just make sure they are tight. And i agree, the thumbscrews are asking for a headache.
