I have a Gremlin bell on all my bikes, so the Kill Switch doesn't matter.

Depends, if I park on a semi level surface, and knowingly put the bike in neutral, I'll use the ignition switch. If otherwise, I'll use the kill switch. Been doing it this way for many years.

I only use the kill switch when I roll into my driveway late at night so as not to wake up my neighbours.
Neutral, kill switch, garage door opener, park bike, turn off ignition and go in house.

Same thing for me as well. I also will use the ks if I'm on slope so that I can shut the bike down without letting go of the bars. Then I turn off the ignition and reset the ks.

On a normal basis I use the ignition however if I park on some slope I leave in 1st gear and use the kill switch then the ignition and then I flip the kill switch back so I don't get embarrassed......I do that enough already!!

Almost always use the kill switch. It's right there at your thumb. Hit kill switch while holding front brake then let clutch out then turn ignition off.

According to the operators/owners manual that is how the motor company recommends shutting the engine down......

I have a question for those that think a kill switch is mandatory, correct, required, or the right way to turn off your bike,

How do you turn off your car/truck?
