Out riding the other day, going to the store. Met up with a guy that had a custom build like a Big Dog Pit Bull kinda bike, we did the red light to red light thing from a roil on.
Very happy to say I took him buy about 3 bike links thru 3rd and then he caught up to me in 4th....we had to slow for the red light. He pulled up next to me and said "Man that thing goes pretty good!"
I asked what he had, he said a 117, He asked the same I just smiled and said Its just a 103... Thinking he would have took me on the big end but I am happy.
Its fun to do every now and then whether you win or lose. Why not open it up a little and have fun? I usually see people in their cars and trucks enjoying it as well.
I beat a guy on a sport bike once, and I will admit, he was caught sleeping on the green, but I still won. Had a guy and a girl in a car pull up laughing their asses off. They followed us to a bar that we were headed to and they bought me a beer.

I was going slow to roll over some railroad tracks some sort of Kawasaki Cruiser pulled up next to me we cross the tracks side by side after we got across the tracks it was on like Donkey Kong. I easily outran him I got a speeding ticket for doing 85 mph. Cost me $500.

Kind of a long story but, back in the early 80s a friend of mine had an accident at work, almost lost his right arm, tore it up pretty bad, anyway he had a Knuckle Head, dont remember the year but if I remember correctly it was around 106ish ci.
Ok so back in the day the street bike to bet was the KZ900, on the weekends down on Central Ave in Mpls we would race these kids on there hot roded Kawis and just beat the crap out of them! It was funny like crazy! The Kawi owners were just baffled!
The bike owner and two of my other riding buddies end up on the cover some chopper magazine with the bike in an old biker bar down on 27th and Central ave in Minneapolis. It was a cool time in my life!
