So what you are saying is that the ignition switch has to be on for these switch banks to work? I was hoping to use one of the accessory switches in the kit to control LED accent lights that can be on when the bike is parked. Cannot do it?
Yes. For what you want to do, consider this switch housing & build your own harness with an inline fuse on the positive line connected to the battery B+.
I know this older but this has the closest info I am looking for. Just to clarify...I have the Daymaker Fog Loghts and mounts for my 16 Road Glide. I bought the wiring harness and the auxiliary switch assembly that has the 2 ACC and relay and what not. Is that what I need to power those Fogs with a switch? I dont particularly need the switch with the fog light symbol on it right? Would I need to move either of those switches or what? Just working on how its all plug n play with getting the dogs to work on one of those switches....and how would I know which one itll be. I was going to plug the relay assembly to the left side unless thats not needed for the fogs just other accessories. Thanks

The only tools you should need are a hex key for the dash trim, and a screwdriver to mount the switches. Everything else is plug and play. You will have to run wiring from the Y-harness to whatever accessory you want to power. Depending on the accessory, the manufacturer may already have the appropriate harness as part of the kit (Motolight did)
For my Motolight install, I did have to run the Motolight provided harness under the tank dash panel to get power to the lights themselves, but that was pretty easy.

David,
Not knowing where you are installing the LED AUX Fog lights as in crash bar or fairing mount, but you don't need AUX Switch *** Kit w the relay unless your looking to add additional accessories at a later date or??
I am attaching both the install instructions for crash bar and fairing mount.
The crash bar mount will require two items a switch pack and the wiring harness:
