Rob175 - thanks for sharing. This is what I believed.

Given that, either the OP does not have a Ultra Limited or he does indeed have the CB and is not aware of it. That could very well be the radio issue.

Thanks again - perhaps the OP will come back and share the fix.

It could also be the weather ban, I had the same deal, weather ban was on, but volume was down on it, would cut into the radio, just a thought, give it a shot

The "Comm" selection on the home screen can be viewed to see IF CB is "checked" on I believe.

Unless needed I never check my CB.

The weather band is another PITA if turned on for local riding since it will cut out the radio even though the weather alert is far away from where I'm riding. Unless I'm taking a x-counrty ride I keep mine off. I recall last summer the weather radio kept alerting me to bad weather but that weather was one state away from where I was riding. Turned it off and all was good.

It's either the Weather Band on or your navigation is running a route. Both will mute the radio and if the volume is turned down on the prompts, you won't hear anything.

hbsoldier3 - well, you must be right - he is using that radio.

Folks come here with questions and we are always happy to help. What they might not realize is when they find the solution, their post continue to help others. This is how we all learn.

So, it sounds like he got it fixed. I was just wondering what the fix was.
