7 pin headset audio issue

Hey all, I recently upgraded to a 2016 Ultra CVO and am still learning the Boom audio system. I've tried using the headsets from my 2007 Ultra and I can hear everything to include phone calls just fine, but have no audio output. A caller cannot hear me...the bike doesn't hear any of my commands and it's the same result on two different headsets. What am I doing wrong? Again, I can hear everything through the headset...no-one (including the bike) can hear me. TIA

Did you adjust the VOX settings? I think you can also try using the PTT switch to se if that works.

Plus the headset into the rear connector - see if anyone can here you. If so, you might have a bad plug upfront

Your heading mentions "7 pin" and I believe that is the correct connector for a '16; however, if you used a cable from your '07, I believe that was a 5-pin. So your problem may be a connector incompatibility.

You might look to see if the prior owner added the WHIM. It is known to foul up the wired headset functionality in exactly the way you describe, by not passing mic outputs.
