Turn the ignition switch on and press the hazard switch, you know, the one with the triangle on it, top side of the starter switch. Then turn the ignition back off.
I had a buddy accidentally bump or press his flashers on. He was about 50+ miles away on a ride from our home town. He could not figure out why they were flashing and thought they came on because something was wrong with the bike. So he drives slow on back roads all the way home and pulls up at my house asking why are they on and what’s wrong with the bike. Says he did not press and hold both turn signals to turn it on. His previous bike that’s how you turned on/off. So I walk up and press the flasher button. Don’t be that guy and if he would have pulled out his owners manual and read he would have continued to enjoy his ride that day instead of a panic.

Lol, This exact same thing happened to me (except for thinking something was wrong) my Vrod was using both turn signals. I felt like an idiot when I figured it out.
