Default Running Hot

I have a 2015 Road glide special that seems to be running hot.
I have the original intake, stock exhaust with the guts removed and the screaming eagle street tuner (black)

I have been noticing the bike dropping a cylinder when I am at stop lights rather quickly. once coming to a stop it temp control will kick on in roughly 30 seconds to a minute until I obviously shut it off or take off.
I have retuned and retuned the bike with autotune and cant seem to get it to cool down.
any help would be appreciated.

The "Engine Idle Temperature Management System" (EITMS), relies on outside air ambient temps and not engine temps.

The bike isn't overheating in the sense that you might think it is.
You can turn that system off if you want. That is the first thing I did with my '15 Limited.

Press the "info" button on your right hand switch pack, and the EITMS status will be displayed. Set it to disabled if you don't want the system activating.

It does seem hot, but with my FP3 I have been watching on my 14Limited and the engine temps are running about 210 with outside temps in the high 90's. That's not really all that hot. I left the EITMS on because any additional cooling (or lack of adding more hear) can't be a bad thing. Why would you want to disable it?

In town it will run about 225 with stoplights every so often.

I have a stock airbox with K&N, gutted stock pipe, and stock CVO mufflers. Running the FP3 "stock" map with lots of autotuning.

Your Street Tuner may be more of a problem though.

I have a 15 Roadglide and have been fighting the high temp battle since I purchased the bike. I have ceramic head pipes (run cooler) Big Louie exhaust, Power Vision tuner, Arlen Ness air cleaner and an Ultra Cool 10 row fan assisted oil cooler. In traffic it still runs hot. I disabled the EITMS from day one. I don't need raw gas washing the oil off a dead rear cylinder. With 50k on the bike I think my efforts have been worth it but would still like it to run cooler. I am considering a love jug fan but really hate the way they look. I wish Harley (or someone) would make a rear cylinder fan like the one for the M8.

I leave EITMS off all the time, I can tell when it turns off the cylinder and just dont like it. EITMS is only for rider comfort and I am perfectly comfortable with it off and both cylinders firing all the time.

With that said, maybe once a year/twice? (if that) I might turn it on if I am dead stopped in a traffic jam, after all, all you have to do is twist the throttle forward to turn it on and off.

I do have a Lenale engine fan for super heavy traffic, that again, use only a few times a year and I got to tell you, the Lenale fan which replaces the horn, looks a HELL of A LOT better then that UGLY HORN. )

That's not how it works. Neither fuel nor spark are active during EITMS.
