I'm fine with the stock heated grips... diameter doesn't bother me. It was just the mention earlier that they may not work. I thought they should, since they're both 1" bars.

Mystery solved! It is an HD Tallboy seat, the previous model ('08-'13). Part # The catalog says that it doesn't fit a '14+ w/ tourpak, but it seems to fit fine?

I did sit on the stock seat, and the bars seemed to fit well. So I'll be looking to trade and/or purchase a stock seat. Hopefully I can get away without changing the bars. I will still get a shorter windscreen though.

Thank you all for the feedback. It had not occurred to me that it was a different seat.

Glad you got it figured out. In my post, I should have been more clear. The stock Low bars don't come with heated grips, but you can add them.

When the Moco says the 13 Tallboy doesn't fit 14up with TP, they actually fit. They just don't fill the entire space in the rear seat area. For the OCD, it may be a visual problem.

I have a stock take-off ‘16 FLHTK seat you can have for $100 shipped. PM me

Full disclosure: I am 5’10” (and shrinking!) with a 29” inseam. I put 11” Pro Action shocks and the KlockWerks 2” + 2” bars for a more relaxed arm position. It’s not that hard to roll your stock bars back some.

Here's the take off seat. Plus one with it on the bike.

Appreciate the offer, but I found a new (purchased and not used before the bike was traded in) FLHTKL seat not too far from me, which I picked up Saturday night!
