On my 2015 road king I have this on both sides from under seat. I just washed it yesterday and this wasn't there, even after riding. Any ideas what this is? It's on both sides but worse on left side.
Just got home and investigated. It is indeed just water that was trapped under the seat and console that slowly drains out.
I was worried that maybe the battery did something crazy at first!
From now on I will remove my seat when I wash. I will probably make some sort of cover for the ecm and such. I'm sure they are water resistant, but best to avoid dousing it I imagine!

Notice how it's right below the seam in the seat? Water from the wash job got into the foam in the seat and is looking for a way out. It's worse on the left side from leaning on the jiffy stand.

No need to make a special cover, you already have one, the seat itself. Wash with the seat on, then remove it and hang (nose down) to drip dry.
