Default Seat Suggestions

I have a 2015 RGS. I sent my seat to MCC and had it modified so I sat a little lower but in doing so they took some of the insides out yes it sits lower but with he padding out it’s not real comfortable on longer rides.
Is there a seat that doesn’t cost an arm and a leg that is comfortable and will lower me about an inch or so.
Thanks

Im a fan of Corbin classic Solo. It sits me a little lower as well as a little back. It is a firm seat but breaks in wonderfully after 500 miles or so. I’ve had a Corbin on all my bikes

I'm having the same thing done to my seat right now actually but I'm having them replace the factory foam with memory foam for that long distance comfort. I talked to them for quite a while to narrow down exactly what I wanted to do and for what, they were fantastic and explained each modification in depth. I was just going to get the Riders choice which puts you down and back depending on your weight and height but she did inform me that they would be taking foam out to do it so you'll lose some of that cushioning. I spent more than I was expecting but I'm hoping it'll benefit me in the long run. I should get back in a few days and I'm looking forward to trying it out.

One thing too is seats are very subjective not everyone is going like everyone else’s seat choices.

its very had to tell someone else who makes the best seat it’s very individual! Just sayin!
