Looking into changing my RKC stock seat.Anything for 2 up out there that would seat more into the bike and back.2 pc would do just as well.To my understanding the sundowner puts you forward and the tallboy puts you too high.Wife finally complained.
Each person is different so there is no one seat that will satisfy everyone. I have had most of them at one time or another. I presently have a corbin dual tourer on my other H bike but decided to try something different and save some $$$. I sent my seat to www.meancitycycles.com and had it reworked by Allen. Both my wife and I are very happy campers.
Allen will adjust the seat to you/wife riding habits. I had the seat lowered 2 inches, move forward 1 1/2 inches ( I am a short guy), cut the sides, and add memory foam.
Many like the sundower seat, that was my second option.

thanks for the responses. What i want is lower and back.Posted here that sundowner will lower and put you back?Ithought it put you forward from previous posts.I'll just have to see if i could try one somewhere.
Harley makes an Upgrade seat for the Road King Classic which I own and Like. Check it out. It has the leatherweave which matches the saddle bags. 51615-09

I saw that one it's a deep bucket sundowner.Does the seat position forward or back?Low or high?
My seat is with Mean City Cycles right now, heard nothing but good about their work. Just talking with them on the phone you can tell they are customer service oriented.
I'm useing the sundowner and have no intention to look for anything else. Real comfy, If it weren't for needing a fluid exchange, I wouldn't need to stop or put my feet down.
