I downloaded the latest software, 1.22.0.2 for my Infotainment system as I currently have 1.21.3.1 I unzipped the file and moved it to a flash drive. When I plugged it into my bike (2017 Ultra Classic), the screen said it was authenticating the software. It then asked me if I wanted to install the upgrade software of 1.22.0.2 However, the "Yes" button would not function! The "No" button lit up which only exited the program. I tried it again and waited a few minutes in case it was still authenticating the software but it still won't let me press "Yes"! Can someone please tell me what the problem might be? Thanks!
OK, I feel stupid. It wasn't the toggle because I tried that already. I had the ignition switch "ON" instead of "Accessory". Be kind, guys. I just traded my Kawasaki Voyager for this bike and I haven't owned an Electra Glide since 1977! Sorry to bother you but thanks for the reply!
Spider7115. Try this..... make sure your ignition switch is in the ACC mode, not the ON position (LOL)
How is that for being kind.
Hey, never worry - we all do those sorts of things. I have downloaded the new file but have not installed it yet. Please let us know how you ike it.
My system is running pretty good. The only thing I notice is sometimes the intercom cuts out (I can hear my wife - but she can't hear me). If I turn the bike off, let it reset, it usually comes back on.
The cut out normally happens when there is another function - like, if my phone rings. Probably a good reason to simply disconnect the phone - however, I do use the address book to sync with my navigation
Well, in my defense, I traded in my Kawasaki Voyager that I had for 2 years. The first click of the switch is accessory and the 2nd is ignition. The Harley is just the opposite. I clicked it once simply out of habit. Anyway, the software installed successfully so all is well!
By the way, I can always hear my wife, too - with or without an intercom!
