Lost Boom Box again
Fast forward to Aug 2019, boom box goes out again. I pulled the radio fuse, and it was good, but when I reinstalled it, the boom box came on.
So as I am pushing the fuse box cover on, the radio goes off again. I wiggle the fuse box, and it comes back on.
I cross my fingers, and ride it 70 miles using my GPS for getting me there, and it goes off again. I pull off in a parking lot, remove the saddlebag, remove the side cover, and while trying to remove the fuse cover lid, dammed if it didn't come back on.
Conclusion, I must have a broken wire somewhere behind the fuse block that makes contact most of the time, but pulls away every so often.
It throws code U0184, which is for lost communication with the radio.
So I know how this will play out, the dealer will take the bike, and when they pull the fuse cover off, it will work, problem fixed. But it won't be fixed.
Right now it is broken. Is there a way to easily remove the fuse block? I just hate to take it in and have them say could not duplicate the problem.
