Default Nice, Clean DOT4

Decided to flush the hydraulic clutch system on the 16RGU. Stuff was dirty black. Suctioned the handlebar reservoir out then filled it a few times while draining it from the clutch spigot. Finally the clean, clear fluid was flowing out the drain tube with no bubbles. Put things back together, changed the motor oil and filter then fired the bike up and tested the clutch. Just right.

Be nice if it was easier to get to. I have to loosen up the S&S exhaust system to get to it.

I couldn't pull the side cover without moving the exhaust so I let it hang...it gave me just enough room to access the clutch bleeder valve to drain the fluid.

Yeah, the clutch fluid gets dirty pretty fast I just changed it on my 16 with about 27000 miles on it for the 2nd time and it was nasty looking. The brake fluid looked almost new.

Was talking about the exhaust being in the way on another post. This is my plan next time the clutch is flushed. I will cut the bottom of the cover where it curves under so that all I have to do is remove the cover screws and lift the cover straight up. It is not sealed since it already has a hole for the hydraulic line to pass through.
