ecm has wrong version in it...
So as I traveled across the us to Seattle from Michigan my 14 sg ran like ****. almost thought i wasnt going to make it out there...dropped it iff at dealership out there before our cruise ship left. They called said they cant find anything wrong....put a coil in it screw it....fast forward to getting home bike ran even worse as I rode home.
Local dealership had it for 10 days and comes back with the ecm has a old version. in it and that's why it started running so badly. Really how does it go from running fine for 4 years and 30k miles to all of a sudden running so bad I couldn't get out of it own way when i wanted it too. idle take off roll on throttle cruise control didnt matter spit stuttered bucked and ran like ****. Something doesnt sound right.
What says you peeps.
bike has a new map sensor, o2's, crank sensor, coil, wires, spark plugs, fp3 pack with 2 different maps from v&H and ran on original cal with. no difference in how it ran.

If You went back to the saved version on the FP3.That would be a version from late 2013 or early 2014.Depending on build date.This would be looked at as a wrong or outdated version.
Still won't explain Your running problem.If updating the version corrects Your problem, then the FP3 maps are corrupted in some way.

Bike was misfiring, sputtering on any speed take off, cruise control, steady throttle didnt matter.
dealerships before said they scanned it but not sure if they did.
tried original cal on fp3 with same issues. tried a new cal from v&h with same results.
havent picked up bike yet to know how it's running now.
Yes was having map sensor issues back in may. was running fine afternthstngot swapped from may to aug.

Uodate....picked the bike up and seems to be running fine. they say all they did was update the version calibration from D to F and it's now running fine.
Not sure how after 35k that makes it run like it used to but I'll take it for now.
