Replace the head gaskets with Cometic .030" gaskets, (

That's too bad- those cams really shine at 10.75-10.8 CR, and you're prolly closer to 10.25...

Got the covers on, and the bolts. Installing lifters were confusing. Manual says position the oil holes go inboard. I felt down in the lifter bore and the oil holes were ouboard, meaning, toward the back and the front of the bike. I put the oil holes on the lifters in the position where the oil holes in the block were together. I will draw a pic. Let me know if this is backwards.

Some lifters are specifically directional (like Woods). Most are not. Oil flows around the cutaway, feeding both the lifter and the piston squirter, so unless you're running Woods directional lifters, you're OK.

No, those are SE259E cams. Stock 110 CVO cams were the SE255 cams.

I meant lifters, I got these from a separate deal. These are from a guy that bought a new cvo and changed out the lifters before delivery

What year? CVOs used to use the same lifters as stock 96/103 engines ( 18538-99c lifters) until 2013, then they switched to the SE units ( 18572-13).
