Ive got the se stage 4 on my 14 limited. I absolutely love it. Its got me spoiled to where the m8 bikes have totally failed to impress me. The stage 4 is strong. Youll love it.
I have a Thundermax autotune. I will download a map and go from there. Last night I installed the intake, I hadn't had too many beers but could not figure out why my air cleaner no longer fit. it had a gap between the intake and back of the Screaming eagle aircleaner. It was the exact distance of the brace in the photo. I took it off and the air cleaner bolted up perfect. i have no clue why except that the bosses of the Screamin Eagle CNC ported heads have an extended boss. Anyone have any input?
Last night I tightened up the exhaust, installed the crossover tube, screwed in the O2 sensors then installed the gas tank, dash, and battery. Stuck in the 50 amp fuse, grabbed my key fob and hit the switch just to see if it would light up. SUCCESS! It fired right up, I shut it off after a couple seconds because I havn't downloaded the map yet. I tried to download from Thundermax's website and couldn't download the software. So I got to try to figure that out today.
Changing the jets! LOL. I downloaded a base map based on the cams, it wouldn't start. I tried two more. It finally started and a window popped up saying wrong map installed, permission to install correct map. I click yes and as it was downloading, the bike started to smooth out. Let it get up to 220 degrees and it was idling right at 950 rpm. Not to start cleaning and reassemble, getting it ready for warm weather that won't come soon enough.
Nice! Stop giving me ideas. I've figured out that for less money than I'd spend on a trade in, I can completely tweak my 107'. I think that will be the way to go. Good work.
Update: I am on my 3rd test drive and as the engine gets warmed up, it has a lifter tick. Doesn't have it when cold. I called Fuelmoto and discussed it with them. Remember I bought woods lifters from them and used SE "perfect fit" pushrods. They are suggusting fully adjustable pushrods. I ordered a set from them. They are adjusted to 4 turns and 2 flats. I will update when I have them installed.
