I know they're probably supposed to, but I've never been charged tax. For that matter, Surdyke has never charged tax, either. Though, my last order from them was in 2019, so maybe things have changed.
Like you, I'm not going to sweat over a few dollars, especially if I need the part as soon as possible. One thing I appreciate about New Castle is their communication is better than my experience with Surdyke. Also, they keep a relatively updated in stock parts list. That's how I know they don't have the new pump kit in stock.
Thinking about it now maybe they didn't include tax, it was 3 months ago and the old memory isn't what it used to be. But whatever it was the difference wasn't enough to sweat over, a few dollars one way or the other doesn't make much of a difference, especially at this stage of life, LOL! Regards...
