2nd for the Yuasa GYZ32HL. The stock battery on my 18 RKS after a few years would start hard. I used a tender to top it up but it would lose power slowly. The Yuasa Ive been running for a few years starts like new every time.
The battery expert will be along shortly providing valuable information on batteries and battery maintainers.................................:icon_ angel:
Yuasa is a good battery; my son is an engineer at the Yuasa Plant in Reading, PA.
I have been using Big Crank Batteries for 10 years or so on my Harley's and metric bikes when they needed to be replaced. Reasonable Prices and they seem to hold up well. Free Shipping in a timely manner.
I've had great luck with Battery Mart batteries in the past. I also had excellent life out of an Interstate AGM battery but someone mentioned they aren't as good as they used to be, can't remember the details.
I've had the worst luck with OEM Harley batteries on my touring bikes. Last one I got for my 2010 Ultra only lasted 23 months. I got my 23 Ultra new in Feb of 24 and that original battery is already getting weak. I don't want to go Lithium so I guess I'll try to find the stoutest AGM I can get when I replace it.
What is the highest capacity (amperage) AGM that will fit in our touring bikes?
I needed a new battery for my lawn mower and my Big Crank battery in my 2014 Ultra Limited is a little over 3 years old so Im expecting my new Big Crank to be delivered today and the mower gets the old one.
