Default Bagger nation customer service

Long story short, I bought the Bagger Nation Stealth fairing support for '15 and up Road Glides, I purchased thru a 3rd. party seller, not actually from Yaffee, never the less, When it came time to install the support, It clearly was not correctly welded together, fast forward a week,
The seller tells me to contact Yaffe directly, so, ok.
I contact Bagger Nation,I send pics, explain the situation in detail to them and was told: Too bad... Paul said its not his product.... What? It IS his product but, I'm out a couple of hundred dollars and no solution or anything.
Very good customer service fellas, Thanks Bagger Nation ! Can anyone guess what brand of parts will never be again be installed on any of my bikes or any of friends bikes?

If you used a credit card, you have a resolution through the CC company.

Tell us who the seller was and they are responsible for the product they sold to you.

Interesting - you are blaming Bagger Nation and sort of throwing them under the bus yet, there is no mention of the seller's name or information.

While I wish you the best, I have to imagine that if I purchased something from a seller that did not work or was not put together correctly, I would think that it is up to them to get the matter resolved. Why would the have you contact Bagger Nation.

Purchased some Cardo PackTalk Bolds from Sierra Electronics - have a two-year warranty. After about a year, we noticed the battery was not holding a charge. Contacted Sierra - they said return to them, and they would follow Cardo. Actually, since it was riding season, they said they would send a new set and wait for Cardo to replace.

Just sounds like there is more to this story. Especially if Bagger says, it is not my product. So, please come back and fill us in.

Oh well, I'm not naming names of the seller, He is a well respected and well known bike builder and seller of custom parts and I have contacted him, he is quite willing to take the defective item back and refund me or replace the item.
I wanted to advise Bagger Nation of the problem directly but I was not well received by them, I was polite and diplomatic about it, not asking for a refund from them but I was basically brushed off and told to go away.
Thats OK, There is plenty of other places to go.

Well that’s cool - the seller then appears to be a stand up organization, fantastic! Send the parts back to the seller, and get replacements, or a refund, which ever you prefer, and move on.

Assuming the seller is an authorized retailer for Bagger Nation parts, they will likely get replacements from Bagger Nation - and presumably if there is a problem in manufacturing, BN will figure out whether it was a one-time deal, or a defect they need to address going forward,

Post Holidays, with a lot of people wanting to return or replace gifts or purchases, it is “possible” whomever you spoke to at Bagger Nation was having a bad day, or maybe felt you were trying to pull a fast one with “other” parts.

I am NOT making excuses for them, and I have never felt with Bagger Nation in any way, but the idea strikes me as “reasonably possible”.

Best of Luck

WOW, I have bagger nation Monkey bars and bought thru them, and, their support was EXCELLENT!

I think you bought a fake.
If they say its not their product because they don't put out that kind of crap, I would believe them.
And let me guess you bought it somewhere near $100 bucks cheaper then Bagger Nation sells it for!
that is based on what you said " I'm out a couple of hundred dollars "
Bagger Nation sells it for $299.95, THAT is the price from them, and, any other reputable site.
Live an learn, if it to good to be true IT NOT TRUE

Just say-in...

I'm not the sharpest knife in the drawer but something's not adding up. In your first post the seller tells you to work it out with BN, then in your next post the seller has miraculously come around and is willing to handle your issue. So, which is it?

Curious what was not welded together correctly? Reason I ask, I bought the same fairing support thru a 3rd party vendor (paid the full $300) and installed on my bike.
The install was straight forward and it fits perfect. The only nit pick I had was the center flange where you drill through the fairing support and bolt on below the headlight was not centered on the support. But that was purely aesthetic and you can't see it once you replace the outer fairing.
All in all, I'm happy with the product. I am amazed, however, that the price can be justified for such a small, simple piece...I guess if I don't want to pay for it, I should learn how to weld. Lol
