Android Auto disconnects finally solved

similar problems; thanks for sharing your solution. this was like finding religion. could not find the recommended and used the following...install was painless.
I like the looks of this one and it has the USB connector attached. How's it working for you???

I've driven myself nuts with Android Auto glitches, both with a Honda built-in system as well as a cheapie $78 head unit bolted to my RKS handlebars.
The former problem was solved with a high quality Anker data USB cable. The latter problem was solved by replacing my Motorola phone (which would not update beyond Android 10) for a Samsung with a more up-to-date operating system.

So, wanted to wait a while before responding to this. Been a month now, riding to work about every day and a couple of weekend day trips. So far, I have had zero disconnects. I also used to have the disconnect issue with my jeep gladiator as well, so I don't believe this has anything to do with the boom gts. I have had zero disconnects in my jeep as well. Must have something to do with the ports on the phones, etc, not entirely sure. Anyway, yeah, these wireless devices solved all of these headaches...
