Lots of folks report that they can find neutral easier after they do that. Might work for you.

Here's one comment on them:
"Trike shifts better does not feel sloppy finding neutral now no problem just falls in, these Heim joints are a must!!"

You can see some HERE.

We even made a few videos on the subject, here's one of them-

No offense to DK Customs Products - I bit the bullet and purchased the above item - shipping was $18 - very unreasonable for the 2 pieces. Now, the bigger concern is the bolts - it doesn't come with the bolts which are somewhat unusual - fine thread and hard to find in chrome. The local hardware stores don't carry such - you have to buy a package with various sizes etc and not in chrome. Amazon and bolt depot sells them but adding shipping and the cost of them comes to another $15-20. It adds up...

Now, the biggest thing IMO related to this thread here - when you screw the heim joints all the way in, per the video or accidentally, you SHRINK the total linkage rod length and that has the same effect as buying the after market products such as Trashin - which being shorter it changes the angle and in essence the rod's length. The end results - yes, improved shifting and probably no/less issues with finding neutral, BUT it has nothing to do with the product itself. The product itself DOES seem very sturdy and durable and it will provide sharper shifting and it deserves credit for that; just IMO a bit costly especially again, since it does not include those fancy bolts (and you can't use different/common thread bolts as the rear lever is threaded)
