Default Harley Auxillary Power Switch Fairing Mount Help

I bought the auxillary power switch Part # 71400129 for my 2023 street glide ST. I installed harness per the instructions, pretty much plug and play so hard to screw up or so I thought. My auxillary 1 switch works perfect with the switch on the dash. My problem is, the auxillary 2 output, the ones with just the wire ends and not a plug, is always hot and the switch on the dash does not control the switch? Has anyone else encountered this? I noticed that aux 1 wires runs through the relay and when I switch aux 1 on you can hear the relay click and aux 1 works great. Aux 2 apperas to not run through the relay?

They should not be hot all the time. Both my switches operate as should once the ignition switch is on.

The kit shows it comes with its own relay. I suspect a miswiring issue.

Appears just the red wire is always hot, the other wire is controlled by the switch. Not sure the purpose of the always hot wire but I guess its good to know if you need one.

I had a weird issue when I installed the same kit on my 2021. When you put the switches in out of the box, they are installed middle, and right. The left switch spot is blank.
After wiring everything up, I push middle switch and relay was clicking and the green light came on. Right switch nothing happened with the remaining wires.
started trouble shooting and found that the right switch spot was non functional but the left switch spot was functioning.
so I disassembled the switches and moved the button to the left side. And now all is well and both switches are working as intended.
i was gonna exchange the whole thing but I was way past the return window 🪟

Which 2 wires do you wire up to? I click the middle and same thing happens. If I wire to the right side and connect to the blue/yellow wire that works, but the other blue/green does not work.

I honestly don’t remember. I remember checking the switch with a voltmeter. I think all I did was change the connections on the switch from like left to right. Then the wires remained the same

I got a similar part for my 2016 street glide and I had to purchase a "aux" button for position 2 for the wires labled "Accy 2" to be switched. with out a functioning button the wires were hot all the time.
