Want some taller bars on my 2015 ultra limited. I have been offered a set of 12 off a 2019 road glide.
Question is will they fit?
I am thinking the will be to narrow across the bottom. Have found contradictory info when searching concerning dia., saying my 2015 has 1 1/4 and the road glide is different so wont fit clamps.
Why cant it be easier to find the information you need.
They won’t fit because the batwing and the shark nose have different angles to their bars. The batwing bars, come back at you a little bit before rising up whereas the shark nose bars are just the straight shot up.
for good quality bars that won’t break the bank check out road6customs, also be aware that if you’re going to do the install yourself, everything should reach just fine, but you will have to de pin the wiring because on 2014 and 2015. They still use the large connectors
also when you’re shopping for taller bars, keep in mind the overall width. Some of these bars are really really wide

My bars are straight up they do not have a lower bend in them. I thought they did but after a closer look I saw they didn't. Have to find the bars here in Canada, exchange rate is a killer

so it seems the factory bars may not have the bend but if you think about it when you put longer bars on, they’re gonna be way farther back away from the fairing that’s why the taller bars have that bend. Otherwise you’re gonna be eating your grips

something is not right. Do you have a road glide limited? Because anything with a batwing fairing should have the bend at the bottom. Post a picture of your bike
no it’s a 2015 ultra limited, I hate the shark faring

Look at my second pic I should have room to put them straighter up. Only want to go 10-12s.
no one is stopping you just remember they will be a along that angle and much closer to you. Also because of the way the bars are drilled. You may have to break off the nub in the switch packs so that your clutch and brake lever will line up at that height. this is because on a road glide the bars are meant to go more straight up and down and will probably have the wrong angle for your brake and clutch lever at that extreme angle back. I hope you understand what Im trying to say
Attached, you will find a picture of my bars on my road glide they are adjusted as far down as they will go with the nub in tact. So if you lean the bars back to the angle that you would need, you will see how the brake in the clutch lover will point upwards.
