Question Boombox GTS map update frequency query

Hello, I recently updated my GPS maps to the 2025 database on my new to me 2020 FLHTK. Does anyone know the frequency maps are updated for the Boombox GTS? Is it every 2 years like was the case with my 2014 FLHTK, or is it yearly for the GTS?
Can I expect Naviextras to promulgate new maps for my Boombox GTS next year or in 2027?

You'd really be far better using Waze under Android Auto or Apple Carplay. Naviextras are a disaster. Maps are poor, well out of date when they are published, and hugely overpriced. See: https://au.trustpilot.com/review/naviextras.com

Assuming you have an Android phone, Android Auto and Waze are in the Play Store (free) - only work with phone plugged in to USB though , not wirelessly.

Yes, if you use a wireless addon, like the Motorola, or similar, it can work wirelessly. Better with Waze than Google maps though, in my opinion.

Aren't there a few different wireless dongles out there that do that?

STRONGLY disagree.
I use my built in map all the time. Have updated once in the past 3 years. 99% of roads in cities and states that I travel are listed. MAYBE a small new subdivision just built might not be listed.
I can use my handlbar controls and do WAY more than trying to use a small cell phone screen. I can switch between audio, phone, messages using the bike infotainment system. I have audio prompts, I can see upcoming turn by turn. MUCH safier than trying to using my fingers to flip through a small cell phone screen.

Yes, WAZE is better as is Google Map when using in my car.

Its a learning curve. Once one learns ALL of the features in the NAV system is amazing. I can preload location, create a trip using the waypoints. I can check time to turn, time to destination, miles to destination, MPG,
the 2 side map options can show time, elevation, temp, speed. I can use the POI to locate gas stations, restaurants, HD dealers, hospitals, lodging.
Your cell phone can't do that while on your bars. Yes, using one hand to ride and looking at your cell phone for extended periods of time.
