I have a 2021 Road Glide Special with RDRS/Traction Control, I had to replace the rear tire pressure sensor. I've seen conflicting posts and threads the the BCM will automatically re-learn, an indy shop with a snap-on programmer can do it with the serial number, or HD can do it.
I rode a good 3-4 miles. The instrument panel went from "RR00", with the low tire light on; to "RR- -", low tire light on, and the Red security LED stays a solid red.
rode another 5-6 miles with no change. so I either didn't ride long enough or it doesn't auto learn.
If I need the serial number for the snap-on, which one of these numerous series of numbers is it?? is it the same as the "FCC ID", the numbers by the the QRC code looking box? luckily I thought to take pics of all sides, they are attached.
Never changed the sensor on the bike, but when two went bad on my Jeep the guy had to hook up the Snap On scanner to get them synched up. I would imagine the same for the bike, good luck.
You'll have to pair the new sensor with the BCM. If you have to enter the number yourself manually and have a problem, try leaving the "R" at the beginning off... I had to.
