God how I wish people would stop quoting novel length posts with 30 pictures to ask "How do you like it"? Jeezus.

papasmurf. I think I understand your question so I will attempt to help.

You actually do not have to remove the switch trim and ignition switch to do the swap, but it helped me get in there and work with it easier...gave me a bit more room. You have to remove the fairing and loosen the fairing housing that holds the radio, electronics, etc. Once the housing is loosened, you tilt it forward and the handlebar clamp and hardware are right there. Removing the radio will be a bigger PITA and probably wouldn't even give you the clearance you need. When I did it, I just followed the instructions that JT started the thread with and everything just kind of opened up for me as I went along. It turned out to be easier than I expected.

Default Got mine done

Just finished installing my Khrome Werx 2+2 sweepers on my 14 Ultra Limited. Followed JTs instructions and with the exception of a few pain points, the install went well.

Trying to re-install the ignition switch was a ROYAL PITA. And took me several hours to figure out. I'm still not certain what I did to get it back.

Also, you have to make certain that your brake lever is engaging the little switch in the housing (ask me how I know) if not, you're brake light will remain on and not shut off. Perused the forums for help on that one.

No extra cables were required!

I'm not a wrencher at all but I sure as hell wasn't gonna give my "stealer" 1200 bucks to install an 86 dollar set of bars so I went with it. Glad I did.

this is the part number I bought - I did get the Black bars not chrome:

Khrome Werks 1in. 2+2 Bagger Sweeper Handlebar - Black , Handle Bar Size: 1in., Color: Black 300813

And IF you buy it from Amazon it will tell you it does not fit on the '14 - but it does...

2014 limited.
I just got my new bars from Sturdyke # 56176-08
They don't appear to be different than what is on now. Is there anyway of telling if these are the 2" pullback bars or lf they sent wrong bars

I just bought the Khrome WerksŽ 1 inch +2 Chrome Sweeper Handlebar. Going to do the install very soon, I didn't want higher, just closer.

Got the last pair that Dennis Kirk had, $90 and free shipping.
Great guys to deal with. They just arrived this week.
