Just got off of a road trip and stopped at many dealerships and was told that people who gripe on the forums were more than likely just sour grapes and that no one has ever complained to them about the gps before. Of course they were nice when they said that. I also heard that they will be a new update but not sure what it will address.
Now I have tried Microsoft S and T but don't think that I could even upload it to the bike. I tried http://www.tyretotravel.com/download...ad-tyre-basic/ and i appear to have a little more luck planning and routing but it still aint perfect. The program is close to Streets and Trips but still on occasion it tried to pull me off course. With it you can name you waypoints. Rather than load an entire trip you can plot it to go to the named waypoint, again still not perfect.
Good luck and i am all ears.
MS S&T will export to .gpx file & it will import into NAV. Simple routes work OK. More complex = more issues.
