Ask them why there isn't a passenger setup for intercom on the SGS. Why, when you take the riders harness and add the passenger harness like an Ultra, the rear headset speaker output from the radio doesn't emit any sound (even after the flash from the dealer).
I ride with a USB thumb drive attached all the time with my music on it. I never use the radio. Sometimes it automatically starts playing the thumb drive when I start the bike and other times it goes right to radio and I have to manually switch it back.
Damn....if I didn't buy theatre tickets yesterday I would have driven out there for this. My uncle lives in Baldwin. I really would have liked to have been there.

thanks for your service!!!
If I were to guess this "workshop" is going to be "this is how you turn the radio on" "this is how you operate the navigation" etc. etc. the real basic stuff you can find in the owners manuel. I could be wrong but I don't think they will have any technical answers for you.
Yep, our dealer did one of these about a month back. It was pretty disappointing. Mostly a sales pitch for the Boom audio stuff - speakers, amps, saddlebag lid kits, etc. I asked a few questions and got the "deer in the headlights" stare. I also ended up correcting a couple of points they made about their own products. The one nice thing was they handed out discount coupons for 10% (I think) off anything "audio or electrical-related" as a thank you for attending. You can still beat 10% off by shopping online, but it's a nice gesture, and good if you have something you need "right now".
