Default Adjustable Backrest

The backrest on my 2011 was not one of the adjustable ones - fit nice and had a cover over that iron bar that connected the backrest to the backrest frame.

When I got my 2014, they were suppose to put on the same backrest - but instead put on the adjustable one. That metal bar shows - and it does not look like anyone makes a cover for that.

So, here is what my wife did. I think she did a great job... bike is amber whiskey..so she added a little color. Beats the metal bar that was there

Do you or your wife sew? Make it inside out and then reverse so the seams are on the insideThis is a slip on - take the screw loose from the back rest, slip this over and reinstall the screw.

Wife say the leather cost about $3.00 - takes about 1/2 hour to make it and about 3 minutes to install. You can use black thread or a color that matches the bike - like I used something close to amber whisky. You could use amber whisky or grey.

My opinion, looks much better than that metal bar. Local guys saw it and are asking. What do you think?
