Wayne question the thread you quoted with the link to E bay I can use that setup with my 14 Limited ? I assume just for the phone or does it work for the CB also . Thank you

The throat mic will work for phone and cb. And works just fine on the 14's . Just make sure whatever one you get says it will work on Harley bikes as there are some out there that do not have the correct plug to work on the Harley connector.

Do you have to use the PTT switch to use the CB?

I keep seeing the words "premium' associated with a headset. My Harley Dealer doesn't know of a "premium" headset. Can you give me a part number or reference?

Yes you have to use the push to talk button with the cb but not with the phone.

works with phone and cb just not with intercome and with the phone you have to wear the ear bud

You do not have to wear the ear bud for the phone unless you set the radio to use the headset instead of speakers. As long as you have it set to use your speakers for everything you never have to use the ear bud.

I did not think you could set the phone to work on speakers but then again not sure I ever tried
