I just put v&h short shots on with v&h vo2 naked air cleaner...The fp3 was super easy and I got better throttle response and Def more hp...did not use auto tune yet waiting for better weather.
Thanks. This is the best info on this that I've seen yet.
My FP3 is "out for delivery" with USPS, should have it tonight. This helps me with what to expect.
I chose this because I believe it will allow me to put on the air cleaner and tune the bike, then save for my exhaust, and tune the bike again. Sounds easy to use and quite versatile, I hope it lives up to its descriptions.
Luving this "Rushmore" section!
I'm also looking into this tuner as you I like the option I can add one thing at a time and tune the bike as I add a upgrade . Have you decided which air cleaner your going to use ?
Put the FP3 on last night, and just the SE filter kit and back plate. Keeping the stock cover for now, as it is new and identifiable as a '14. I'm sure I'll change it once the novelty wears off. Anyway-
Fuelpak was EASY. Still have stock mufflers so I gave my "best guess at a restricted system as a base map (stock is not an option). The bike actually ran great just from that, but then I chose to do a little auto-tuning on the ride to work this morning. I will do more in the next couple days, as I have to imagine the more variable conditions sampled, the more data the FP3 gets, the more complete and accurate your map will be. I'm speculating.
Only trouble I've had, connectivity. I've had to turn on/off several times to get the bluetooth talking. Theres probably a trick to it, i just havent had time to play with it too much.
So far, VERY pleased.
I installed the FP3 this weekend, I first connected it to my Iphone, it kept hanging at uploading map to server, so I ended up connecting to my Nexus 7 tablet I have to say if you have a tablet that is the way to go. I felt like it was easier to see the full screen on the tablet.
Sounds very much like the PV-2, using a smart phone.
We are dealer for the FP3 and have a good amount of experience with the product, while similar to Power Vision in the fact it flashes the ECM directly it is actually quite different. FP3 is designed for and best suited to stage 1 mods as it offers basic fuel/timing control, all tuning is done via smartphone or tablet (rather than PC software) and all maps are distributed by V&H directly. Good to see this technology making its way to the motorcycle world
Always good to get info from fuel moto, I figured you guys had to have tried these, but I didnt see them sold on your site, so I wondered what your opinion would be- as a company with a strong and wide reputation in building and tuning.

We do have the FP3 on our site in our webstore, we still have to finish all of the placement thru out the rest of the site. You can find em here: http://www.fuelmotousa.com/10202203.html
been reading some really great stuff about this. Love the idea of being able to store up to six different maps and flash the ECM with my phone on the fly...
