Just read the instructions. Looks like you will probably have to totally remove the tank. Directions indicate you have to remove the wire trough cover.
So with 2 people other than unbolting there should be no fuel line disconnecting?
I yanked my fuel tank off the bike to route cables when I installed the rider communication kit and CB. I would recommend that you do pull the tank instead of trying to lift and run the cables.
I had a friend that had done this before and he walked me through it. I took pics of all the hookups and connections before taking it off so that I could route it back properly. I don't think I would have been able to route the cables without the tank being off.
Yes, you need to remove the tank.. Its a very simple process. I have had mine off my '14 several times. To disconnect the fuel line, unplug the electrical connector at the base of the tank with he wires running up under the tank trim, ( Fuel Pump and gauge connection), turn ign to on and crank over engine a few times. It may even run for a sec, this will drain the pressure off the fuel line making the quick connection much easier to take apart.
Is there a nicer replacement to the Street Glide cloth looking speaker grills?
I have the Boom speaker kit for the lower fairing and those metal grills are much nicer looking.
Are there any options?
Thanks
What he said. I'm just looking for grills too and can't seem to find any. Does anyone have a web link to where I could order grills from?
Thanks in advance.

The Part Numbers are.... 76000322 LH Front Grill 76000321 RH Front grill.
They are different so ensure you order each.. go to Kutterharleyonline.com
And i f you really looking to improve the look ad the trim rings 61400193
IMO if you are going into the speaker pods, I would consider upgrading your speakers while you have it all apart. Not the easiest task taking them apart and you only want to do it once.

Thank you very much, I appreciate the info. I've just ordered the grills and the trim.
