Hi, I am looking for some suggestions for a new speaker system for my 2018 street glide. I am aware of the various plug and play systems from RF/arc audio/biketronics. I have read from various threads that there are better options for less money, but have not seen what those options are. I read to contact Bagger Audio Lab but he says he no longer does retail. I'd really appreciate any help.
What is the budget you are working with?
Will you be doing the install?
After you establish said budget, are you just looking for Fairing only is there a chance of going with lid speakers or lower fairing speakers?
Juice
Sorry I meant to type those things as well. It'll be fairing only for now. Depending on price I may want to get a 4 channel amp in case I do add lid speakers later. I wont ever get lower fairing speakers. I'd really like to keep it under $500 if possible.
What if I bumped the budget to $700? I also found an MPAK 4 kit for $520. Do you have any thoughts on that? https://creativeaudio.net/mpak-4/
thanks Juice
Not a fan of the "kit "idea.
That arc amp is low on power, not sure on those specific speakers as I have not heard them and the Audio heads I know never mention them. You would still need the BT355.
I'm sure there's a lot out there that is not so great. I like ARC because the Moto 600 amp is actually engineered to operate on a stator based charging system. That's exactly what was explained to me. It's not a repackaged car amp. I like that, because I don't want to deal with overtaxing my charging system. I have 8 speakers on 1 moto amp and everything plays great. I also like that ARC has a complete plug and play harness.

That's only a ploy to target unsuspecting customers and if you're pushing 8 speakers on that amp you're severely underpowered.
