Hi Guys..............does the 2014 Ultra Classic with the 4.3 Infotainment have the Rider/Passenger Intercom system ?
Trying to isolate an intercom problem with my FLHX.
Thanks.
No the ultras do not have cb or intercom, only the ultra limited, ultra cvo and trike.
According to the HD website the 2014 Ultra Classic has wired intercom as standard equipment. The CB is optional. I have a limited so I'm just going by the website.
Nuages, I had looked at HD's web site and went by what is listed there for the '14 Electra Glide Ultra Classic under "Specs & Pricing"; "Communication"; "Rider/Passenger Intercom" - "Standard". I know that the Ultra Classic does NOT have a CB as standard equipment because that was one of the reasons that I bought the Limited. I never really paid attention to weather or not the Ultra Classic was equipped with a Rider/Passenger Intercom because I never used one. I did want the CB and that was removed from the Ultra Classic for 2014. The Trike also does NOT have a CB as standard equipment but I don't know about the Intercom.

Hi 14GuineaPig....I chose the Street Glide for various reasons......had the Tour Pak detach kit been available at the time I would have gone with a Limited.
I am now engaged in bringing the FLHX up to the the Limited spec.
The CB radio, GPS, rider/passenger intercom and LED headlamp were to be the last bits of the puzzle.....sounds like the Dealer has got it more or less sorted....just means the passenger will hear everything the rider says on the CB or the phone and the rider will have to press the part button for the passenger to speak on the CB.
Anyway seems like I now have a Limited bar the cooling systemically
I have an Ultra Classic with the 4.3 radio. I have the connection for the passenger and intercom settings on the radio. I have no idea if it works. I've only had the radio on 5 or 6 times since I've gotten the bike. I use it as a clock.
The Ultra Classic does in fact come standard with the intercom, regardless of the radio. One headset is included with the bike. CB is not included, and must be added by the dealer.

2014 Limited that a friend just bought last week does not come standard with CB. $500.00 later CB module installed. Another friend that bought early in year was not charged extra for CB I'm not sure what the MOCO is thinking but CB should be standard on the Ultra, and the Limited. In checking the Harley website it on list rider passenger intercom as standard equipment.

Strange. When I added CB to my Ultra, it was over $800 including labor. So, have they deleted CB from the Limited?? Makes no sense. Looking at the website today, I see no mention of a CB as standard equipment on the Limited, although it does mention the intercom (on both Ultra and Limited).

Just looking at HD.com and they don't even mention the CB on the Limited. I guess the only way to find out what is standard equipment is to go to the dealer and see the bikes in person. I'm surprised that HD is not more forthcoming with exactly what is standard on each model. There is a definite lack of information being presented by the Motor Co.
