So I was reading some stuff on the SE255 cams a while back and was going to put them in my 2012 RGC before I traded it in on the 2014 Ultra and my question would be can these be done in the new bike too?
Is the 103" motor not the same one?

I installed se 204's in my sgs and am very happy with them. No comparison to the stock cam. Lots of options out there. If you are wanting to leave the motor otherwise stock, the 222's or 204's is a good choice.
2014 103 Hi Output engine comes with 255's stock I believe.
They don't come with the 255. The stock HO cams has .061" less lift than the 255 and it has better timing on the intake and exhaust. They are also little less advanced than the 255. They do have more compression than the 13's. 103 in 13 was 9.6 and the 14 air cooled is 9.8 and the water cooled limited is 10. The CVO still has the 255 and stock compression. The CanBus makes a difference also. the HO cams are a definite improvement over the 13 stock cams and very similar to the 255 other than lift. Like Xhere said the 204 does work in the 14's.

The stock cams are not 255's they are slightly smaller, more like a 254 ish. This came directly from the dealership. I did the 110 upgrade and used 260 cams, runs very strong!
A stage 1 HO 103 will make very similar power to the 204 cammed 103. It's not worth the money spent for power gained. Harley did pretty well with this new cam in the HO 103
The 255's are junk cams. Better off as paper weights
