I know the SEPST base maps have it disabled so when I loaded the map it disabled the EITMS. I changed the base map and saved it so when I was auto tuning and reloaded the map it would be activated. I assume even if it was disabled when the map was loaded you could activate it thru the menu or by rolling the throttle.

For now I leave it off on my 14 CVO limited. One would think that a water cooled engine with intermittent fan cycling would not need any additional cooling. That said, if I'm riding in 95 degrees stop n go I would probably activate it. Any one brave enough to always leave it off? My bike seems wanna bog and sputter at low idle with the EITMS on or off...it even died a couple times at a stoplight and seemed to idle rough with mor than slight RPM fluctuations. Service tried to run codes and came up with nothing. They contacted HD and was told there was nothing known about that as an issue. Not the answer I'm looking for when I'm having that issue on a new bike. This mostly occurred on the first tank of gas it came with. Since then I use shell v-power 93 octane and noticed some improvement but still not normal. Anyone else deal with this?

No problems at idle with mine but I don't have a 110. Btw, I leave the EITMS on all the time.

I turned the EITMS OFF all the time. I ran thru heavy traffic a few time with high ambiant temperatures with no engine head, oil or water temperature issues. (I have a PV that monitors these temps all the time). The EITMS makes the bike jumpy at idle and it doesn't sound good at all (it worked fine on my 2010 FLHTK but not on this one (2014 FLHTKSE). The water cooling does an excellent job so turning it off is no worry. As for the problem with engine idling with EITMS OFF, a good tune goes a long way towards smooth idling.
