Ultra Limited Gas Gauge-Is this normal?

Vance and Hines twin slash rounds and VIED =44 MPG.Yes ,odometer switches to __ till empty reading and 1 gallon left after fill.Be careful when topping off,You don't want to get gas in vapor canister.

Press the Odometer button on the left handlebar top. Press it over and over until you see the remaining miles view on the odometer. Ride for a while with that view and see what it's telling you. I find mine is pretty accurate. It is a bit high on a full tank. It thinks I will get 235 miles on a tank, and I don't get quite that much. I did let it run down to less than 5 miles left once to see and that was 5.6 gallons. I am told by others that the tank really is only 5.6 gallons of gas despite it supposedly being a 6 gallon tank.

When the tank gets really low, the GPS will pop up and show you where all the nearby gas stations are. then you get a count down to empty. Even after my bike hit 0 on the countdown, I could only get in 5.5 gallons.

That's what I watch is remaining miles I seldom notice gas gauge. Dude I rode with the other day pulls up at light said your gas gauge reads empty. LoL He wanted gas so we stop and I put in 4.5 gallons. As I recall remaining miles was around 40 something.

If You run low enough it will automatically switch to remaining miles and NAV will ask if You want to find nearest gas station.

That makes perfect sense. 40 miles is about 1 gallon of gas. The tank really only holds 5.5 gallons.

if you keep going past the 40 miles, it will show lo range. I still got another 20 miles out of it and put 5.8 gallons in it, but I'm sure I was running on fumes. I guess i'm not that easy on the throttle since I only get 180-200miles/5.2-5.6 gal. Then again, I didn't get it for the fuel economy!
