Ultra Limited Gas Mileage
95% of my riding is 2 up and at 70-75mph on highways. Get 38-40 using the 91 octane 10% ethanol blend most stations sell. Get 42-44 using pure 91 octane. Best tank was 48mpg riding back roads with cruise at 60mph for most of trip. I use an app called MPG tracker to log every fill-up. The pure gas cost about 20 cents a gallon more then the 10% ethanol blends (about 5% more). But you get over 10% better mileage so it's actually cheaper to use and it's better for the bike. You can go to www.pure-gas.org or download the Pure-Gas app to your phone to find stations near you that sell Ethanol free gas.

took 300 mile trip, cruise on 75 48 mpg. Best I ever got on a bike. Usually get 45 around town. Filled up with non ethanol and got worse mileage. Not sure why, or if I got ripped off on the fill up. My 09 ultra never saw 40 mpg.

Low to mid 40's with the cruise set at 65-70 on the highway. Just remember a new engine will get slightly better after break in. There are also factors like load, elevation, temperature, and throttle use. A difference of a couple MPG's with a 6 gallon tank doesn't make much of a difference in the end. If you are trying to maximize your mileage on a trip the cruise control is your friend.

Right around 45 mpg, 90% rural county roads with minimal stops, maybe 60 mph average speeed. The other 10% is riding more thru neighborhoods, 35 mph with stop signs every couple blocks. That's with E10 premium 91 octane.
