Mine is an Ultra Classic and not a wet head but it gets 37 - 42 mpg depending on speed. 85-90 mph is 37 mpg, 70mph and below gets 42.

So why am I only getting 32mpg on my Limited? I certainly can't be riding it any harder than anyone else. When I asked at my 1k service, the dealership just shrugged and asked "Do you ride it like a dirt bike?" I don't even know what that means. BTW, this bike is rubbish in the whoop-de-doos.

i'm averaging about 42, but did a trip thru the mountains last weekend, had a friend with me who is returning to riding, so i took it easy, not twisting the throttle so much and got 45... got 3000 miles on the bike now, and i'm about to leave on a 3000 mile trip thru utah, i'm curious what kind of mileage i will get on this trip... not so concerned about actual mileage/cost, more interested in actual range between fill ups...

I'm getting 42-45mpg as long as I stay under 3000 rpms. Anything over that and the gas mileage drops into the mid to upper 30's.

I have been tracking mine with fully.com 39-47mpg but averaging 41.6. I have been getting my PCV tweaked.
