Picked up my bike yesterday after having the recall done. They said they did the update for the radio. Still have snapping and popping on FM. After I shut the bike off, the motorcycle icon goes back to the arrow. I thought all these problems were resolved?
I'm not sure which stereo you have, but in the settings you can see the software version. It should be 1.17.4. If not, grab a flash drive and do it yourself. It's very simple to do.

I got my bike in Feb. and the update was not done. Your right...its not a big ordeal to do it yourself and fixed all issues.
That being typed I fail to understand why the dealer doesn't update this as part of the prep (they do charge for setup)?
If they did that update then the radio would function properly in the showroom and on your maiden ride.
I know...they sell lots of bikes but they also make plenty of money.
