Default Another diagnostic option

I don't know if anyone ever mentioned this, but there is another way to use the onboard diagnostic tool to display and reset DTCs:

-While the ignition is off, hold the trigger key (switch key on the left handle bar, used to zero odometer) and turn the ignition on (do not start the engine!)

-The gauges will cycle once and the LCD display in the speedometer will show DIAG, release the trigger key.

-From there on press the trigger key once to jump to ECM ABS and others....

-If there is an error code on that particular module, it will show a 'Y' after the module name. If there is no error code, it will show 'N'

-To show the code, press the trigger key one more time. The error code will be shown. It may scroll through the screen.

-To reset that code press and hold the trigger key until the display shows 'CLEAR'.

-If there is another error code, it will be shown. Reset them all to get to the next module or simply click through them.

-When done, verify that all modules display 'N' if you reset them all.

-Turn the ignition off to exit diagnostic mode.

I hope that helps.

Thank you

I am also getting the B1350 DTC for the radio after a "Free" software update from the dealership. They only charged me $50 and can't tell me why I have a code showing in the system.
