Default Stage 1 Question

Sorry everyone, but I am still a little confused on this topic.

I have a '14 Limited, and have the Screamin Eagle Street Cannons on there.

I want to put a set of Vance and Hines Dresser Duals on there, and a Stage 1 air cleaner.

Do I need to take it to dealer to do a flash or software thing? Do I need to buy a computer for the bike like the Pro Street Tuner fromHD?

Any help is appreciated. Thx!

At minimum you need to have a stage 1 flash done at dealer
Better would be to get a flash tuner especially if you plan to add different cams or something else in the future.

A tuner of some sort is your best bet. The stage I download is a "one size fits some" MAP. It will not be tuned to the specific aftermarket parts you install. It will be better than stock, but in my opinion you are much better off buying the tuner to get it dialed in properly.

Here is a link to an easy objective overview of the options in tuning (which you will want to do with a free flowing exhaust and air cleaner).
