I loaded it. A quick review and I see nothing different.
I can confirm that the 9 way point limit is still there. It said it loaded a 15 way points route, but only the first 9 showed up.
I plan to check out the volume increase issue on the way home tonight.
I looked at all the files and some files have a file creation date of March 16th of this year. I did the upgrade and it took but havent rode the bike yet.
Well, I downloaded & installed the 1.17.5 without a hitch. It DID NOT fix the audio problems with the CB that started after installing 1.17.4 though. It would be nice to know what was supposed to be fixed or changed with the revision though. Harley is really "Dragging Their Feet" on updates & support on these units, they should make all updates available on their website in a much quicker manner than they have been doing and we shouldn't have to find another source to obtain them. All in all I am still pretty happy with the system but there needs to be some timely fixes on a few issues that we all are experiencing. They (Harley) Need to do Better !!!!!!!!
Thanks to the OP that provided a way to obtain the update too.
loaded easy peasy--with a brief 'test' today didn't notice anything different--will know more after this weekends road trip--or it is all behind the scenes stuff
It's odd that bikes have been shipping for awhile with the .5 update and they still haven't updated the HD website. All previous updates came out BEFORE they were being used in production.
Perhaps the new bikes have updated electronics in the radios and they need the new software. I will wait until official release unless more information is published.
So far running the volume down to off, and then turning the power off, the radio starts but stays on the Accept Screen, until i ok the screen, still not ideal but it does keep the radio from channeling and playing until i'm ready, but still goes to the FM rather than my ipod. When selected the ipod does pick up where it left off.
How about the GPS, US, vs's Canada, has that been fixed or is there already a solution?
I'm not updating anything until i can read what changes/fixes etc. are suppose to occur.

Another thread claimed .5 eliminated all texting functions. Can you confirm that?

I agree waited all this time for a update that does not address any of the concerns of their customers.
